We are celebrating Brevard High School's DECA students following their major success at the Career Development Conference in Greensboro!
Out of 6,500 students competing from across the state, BHS students stood out.
Janaysia Cornett earned 1st place in her role-play scenario in the Apparel & Accessories Category and Dillon Hunter was awarded the AMA Marketing Management Certification! Thirteen out of 17 BHS students earned Competency Pins for their scores in the competitive events.
Beyond the results, teachers from across the state noted our students were professional, polite and kind. They participated in workshops, took their competitions seriously and represented Brevard High School well.
Congratulations to the students and their DECA advisor, Laura Smith!
