We are thrilled to share some incredibly exciting news regarding one of our outstanding student-athletes. Bradyn Toms, a dedicated student at Brevard High School, has been selected to serve on the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), representing Regions 7 & 8.
The NCHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory Council is a highly respected group comprised of student-athletes from across North Carolina who are chosen for their leadership qualities, academic excellence, and commitment to their school communities. The SAAC plays a crucial role in providing valuable student perspectives to the NCHSAA, helping to shape policies and initiatives that impact high school athletics statewide. Their work focuses on key areas such as sportsmanship, leadership development, community service, and enhancing the overall student-athlete experience.
Bradyn's selection to this council is a tremendous honor and a testament to their exceptional character, strong work ethic, and dedication to both their athletic pursuits and academic achievements. This appointment not only reflects incredibly well on Bradyn personally but also brings significant recognition to Brevard High School and our district, showcasing the caliber of our student body.
We are incredibly proud to have Bradyn representing Brevard High School and, indeed, all of Western North Carolina, on such an important state-level committee. Their voice and insights will undoubtedly contribute positively to the NCHSAA's mission and the future of high school athletics in our state.
