This is the first edition of my weekly update to parents as we begin the 2012-2013 school year. We are excited to welcome everyone to school on Monday morning. Students should be on campus by 8:05 in the morning and make their way to their first period class listed on their schedule.
Here are some things going on around school to highlight for next week:
Monday: First day of school, volleyball plays at home vs. Rosman, and we will have another Laptop Informational meeting for any parent who was not able to attend any of the meetings the past week at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. A parent must attend a meeting and sign the laptop agreement before a student can be issued his/her laptop next week.
Tuesday: We plan to distribute laptops to students during school on Tuesday and volleyball plays at Hendersonville
Thursday: Volleyball plays at home, JV Football plays at Owen, and Varsity Soccer plays at Highlands
Friday: We will host our first home football game of the season vs. Owen.
We encourage everyone to show their Blue Devil Pride and come out to support our athletic programs, our marching band, and all of our students as they represent our school and community.
