Wind Ensemble - This ensemble meets daily. Honors credit is available for juniors and seniors who qualify. Contact teacher for requirements.  This class also maintains an active performance schedule that requires performances and rehearsals after school.  We will have several concerts each semester.

Percussion Class - This class meets during the spring semester. A prerequisite for this class is successful participation in 1st semester band.  Honors credit is available for juniors and seniors who qualify. Contact teacher for requirements. The purpose of this class is to further the students skills in the area of percussion, and to study and perform percussion ensemble and concert band literature. This class also maintains an active performance schedule that requires performances and rehearsals after school.  We will have several concerts during the spring semester. 

Music Theory - Music theory is designed for the experienced music student interested in gaining a deeper understanding of written and aural musical skills. Students will learn the basic elements of music including reading, writing, notation and performance. The class will also concentrate on an introduction to musical forms, melodic structure, chord progressions, music terminology, instruments and historical eras in music.
